How does it work? Actually the process is very simple. For every key you want to control, you (or your qualified technician) installs a very small device inside your security system, garage door operating mechanism or lights switch. Its a small wonderful piece of electronics which automatically connects to your smartphone and starts accepting commands when it is in range (about 10-15m or 30-40 feet). The electrical equipment being controlled is switched on either by pressing a button on the smartphone or automatically by sensing your presence. Clicko is also able to unlock your door from anywhere in the world with the help of a web browser or your mobile phone! The Clicko Cloud service is able to issue electronic certificates to safely give away temporary access codes to other people. With a time-based electronic certificate one is able to trigger the device even if no Internet is available.

How secure is it? Security is handled by the Bluetooth radio layer. The Bluetooth devices are pretty much secure, actually, a lot more secure than the analog remote controls which are commonly in use today. It is even more secure than your old key. In addition to that, Clicko provides super-safe cryptographic security (4096 bit RSA), which is even more secure than your online banking. Setup is done just once by you or your qualified techician. Then all you should do is just pair your smartphone to the wireless lock. You can add the smartphones of your family and friends too or cut off their access at any time. Because Clicko uses a secure encrypted communication channel, you're safe if you use Internet to unlock your door too!

Clicko triggering devices are tiny low cost devices that operate on very low power, even on batteries. They are able to interrupt or restore any electricity chain up to 10A/250VAC which is enough for your garage door, HVAC system, heaters, boilers, the starter of your car, and certainly small current electronic equipment.
Clicko is compatible with almost all bluetooth devices. It is compatible even with your old Android phone or J2ME Bluetooth-enabled phone. With Bluetooth 4.0 the Clicko devices are compatible with with iPhone 4S and newer. With Clicko you pay NO monthly fees! All devices are triggered via Bluetooth or your LAN/WiFi home network.
